172 Flamer update :)

here is my 172 flamer as it stands to date has had a couple changes since last posted pics plus i have just re-paid my membership so i thought i share some new pics

hope you all like

for those who dont know, i have made the interior trim flame red (still unfinished mind ) no ariel and silvatecs all round plus a good hoover and wash

ok fair points/personal opinions.. i am currently thinking on painting the lettering on the bullets white as somethime in the futre i will b buying different alloys. it is going to get de-stickerd eventually but need a heat gun to do so.

about the door paint... why whats wrong with it? i no nothing of paint tbh

to be honest i like the side bullets plain, just red. its a little different. not that keen onthe steering wheel and gear knob inserts. car looks good tho.

i think people are reffering to the ripples in the paint on the door.

Looks a lot like it's been painted at some point and not been flatted/polished down there, hence how blurry the reflection is in the paint. A little bit of wetsanding and a good pc would sort it out

just as well im learning more and more into detailing,... later on this year i will hopefully be able to use a polish machine tht will fix things.. i hope haha!

TBF, nowadays, a lot of cars come out the factory orange peely, so thats not nescessarily(sp) true.

I have seen many new cars in our bodyshop with such paintwork.

Mars red! haha, thats a VW colour! Defo flame. Nice car buddy, would be tempted to paint the bullet lettering though as mentioned already
