172 Front discs

Sorry if this has been asked before but i have searched through and could not find a answer.

My GF's mk2 172 front discs have rusted fairly bad at the back. So i thought best to get them replaced ASAP.

She does not need any fast road use ones.

My Q is like the unlike rear ones can you just buy the discs or do you need the abs ring \ bearing aswell??

Also will i be ok to use the same pads? they have only done around 5-6K?


Also are the EBc discs any good?

brembo HC discs are £59 a pair (just need the discs)

ebc discs suck

What about the pads the are OE ones will it be ok to just fir new news or do i really need new pads aswell?

Like i said they have only done 5-6K?

without seeing them i can't say exactly, but i would say the pads should be ok

take them out and measure them all, if they're approx all the same then you'll be fine
