172 Front doors

just a quickie, i know the front doors are 13cm but can 16s go in?

no, unless you do some serious modding. not that hard, but 16cm wont fit in without modification

youll have to build custom door pods.

ask for some advice regarding this matter, someone should be able to point you in the right direction.

However being honest, if you get a decent set of 13cm components and amp em, its all you need.

It is possible to fit 16cm speakers!

You could either cut away part of the plastic cup in the speaker housing and probably a bit of metal from the door depending on the depth of the speakers you use, or you could use some MDF spacers and save cutting the doors to bits.

I used Emphaser 150wrms 6" midbasses, just make sure you soundproof the doors for better bass and less rattles.

Sorry dont know about the speakers, but the grille does just pop off.

does anyone know how to get the suede stuff off the front door panel, i think mine needs reglueing in the middle because it has a really anoying rattle but if u press on it it goes.

take the door panel off and re glue the studs where the trim is
