172 Gearknob on a MK2PH1 1.2

I will probably get a 172 gearknob to replace the current plastic one on my MK2 PH1 1.2 :S

any help would be brilliant

Dont forget to buy the little sticker for your windscreen that shows you the gearing numbers.... or you wont know what gear you're in

you usually have to buy the whole gearstick as the knobs are stuck on with some incredibly sticky stuff which causes most people who change them to saw them off.

ps i was joking about the sticker... but it is actually a genuine part for a 172

After the old one is chopped off how would you stick the 172 nob on?

It would have to be pretty solid and strong

araldite or similar industrial adhesive will do, just make sure you fit it the correct way, lol!
