172 going new car on the way

well ive really enjoyed my clio but its time to be more economical and have something thats lower insurance. it looks like im going derv like my bro. thing is i was having a (safe) quick blat with him in his jabbad VRS and upto !20mph he was sat behind both with foot to the floor nothing in it (his has around 185/190hp. and since hes added springs and strut brace it handles amazing aswell ok not as good as the clio but enough to see off all but the most commited drivers in well sorted cars and it still returns 58mpg when cruising ! ive worked out that mine says its doing 35-40mpg but actually im only getting 250miles to a tank at best.

ohh well.. i should with any luck pick up my new motor nxt week

maybe not to everyones tastes but il be knocking on the door of 220hp and 340lbft when its finished + 145mph at least ( yup its a diesel )

well its a stretch for me but im stupid and im hoping that i can spend a lot more time with this car and enjoying doing some good mods. one of the main reasons i chose this is because ive secured a deal on a nearly new one with very low miles for £12.5k (£16k list !) and they are willing to give me a trade in on my 172 which clears my current finance £7k seen as the new shape clios are out at the end of this year im fully aware of how hard it will be to sell privatley and get anywhere near glasses guide price (which is what the seat dealer was using)

so hopefully off to the bank wednesday and pick up nxt saturday.
