172 had a sunroof

Parked in the cold and frosty weather outside the pub last night, my car attracted a coating of frost. On the roof I could clearly see the shape of a sunroof.

So. Do the bodyshells come with a hole for the sunroof as standard?

NB - if you know the answer to this I suggest that you try to get out more..

I have noticed this a few times before, I assume the just used the same roof from the rest of the clio range, hence the cutout.

If you get in your car when the roof is frosted up and put your heaters on the sunroof shaped bit melts first.

maybe theres less or no sound deadening there?

Ye either that or they are double skinned, and part of the underskin has been removed.
