Im 23 and got a quote of £450 FC.

But at 19 on a 172 FC you're looking at the wrong side of £2k.

im 19 also. Most people wait until they have 2ncb before getting a cs. then insurance is around 1800-2000. my insurance runs out in may and im already scouting out for a 172 :)

Im 19 and paid just over £2000 this year fully comp on my 182 with 6 points and 1yr NCB but have my dad a named driver as he occasionally uses it, brought it down a bit :D

  172 Cup, AX trackbeast.
£330 Comp on a 172 Cup, 28 with 10 years NCD.

Compare that to the £1300 I was paying at 19 for TPFT on a 205 1.9 GTi.

I've just bought a Clio 172. I'm 19, have two years no claims and I'm paying £1,050 (give or take a few quid) a year fully comp. That's with Admiral if it helps you at all!

£1100 fully comp with 3 years NCB at the age of 21, through brentacre insurance.

not too bad considering i was paying the same last year on a 1.2 punto :approve:
