whats the average amount i will have to pay to insure a 172 or cup with 3 years ncb and no points or convictions. i will be 22

It will be less than that! Mind you postal code area will have something to do with it. Am twenty two with one claim and 3 points for some silly parking violation, and it only cost me £920.33 a year on a cup so you should be a bit less!

Try confused.com, it is apparentley the best search engine. Im a bit older than you ,but I only pay about £500 fully protected.

£800 to £1500 I recon depending upon where you liove and milage you inted to do etc.

Comfused gave me the higest quote ever at £21k when I looked for 172 insurance tesco wanted only £1500.

Every insured has different weighting applying to things so one insured may want more than another for one person and the exact oposite for another.

Just keep trying.

You would be doing well to get near £800.

Im nearly 28 and a couple of years ago I was paying over £800 for a 172 with 5 years no claims no points or convictions. I still pay over £700 (with mods) on the Cup but with interest for monthly payments I think that comes out at over £800 still. Car is garaged overnight as well btw.

Jesus its criminal that at 22 with a clean licence but a fault accident im paying over 1500 on my slowboy 1.2!

You are right it is criminal!! ONe years no claims and Im paying £750 with liverpool victoria! and its a what car policy that gives me unlimited ICE cover along with the all mods cover (apart from engine swaps etc) that liverpool victoria give you as standard!!
