172 overheating and the garage cant figure out why.

My 2003 172 overheated on a short drive last week and cooked off most of the coolant. The garage have had a look and they cant find the problem. They have changed the thermostat and the head gasket looks ok. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have they checked things like the cooling fan, relay, fuse, wiring etc?

Up until this point how often did you have to top up the coolant?

Must b a fuckin s**t garage.

No never had any problems with it atall and not had to put any extra coolant in since its last service 5 months ago. Think im going to take it somewhere else as it shouldn't be that hard to figure it out!!
