New badges. A lot fresher now. Love the look of it. Got a 197 style Renault Sport badge to go on. Although I can't get the old one off because I have no way of heating it up :( Living down a side street with no road FTL.

Contemplating a standard front diamond or painting the current one the same silver as the wheels / badges.

Do you not have access to a hair drying + extension lead? Get an original front diamond as well, I think it'll look spot on then.

I would need a long extension lead. A very long one. Was going to do it at my parents on Monday when I go over, but their garage burnt down the other week so all of Dad's extension leads are now ash :(

Cheers mate. Black will go with any colour which is one of the best things about a black car. However, for me right now, it's all about OEM look :)

Had a fucked wheel bearing as well. Replaced the rear discs with Renault jobies the other month and started getting a drone last week. Took it to a garage to get their opinion and they said it was defiantly a rear bearing. So off I pop to Renault and they very kindly swapped me over some new ones :) (Thanks Ali ;) )

Next week starts the beginning of tidy up week ready for FCS.

Paint calipers black / silver (unsure yet)
Spray front diamond silver
Spray dash strips / steering wheel insert / gear knob insert black
Quick clean up of the engine bay
Oil change and 2 new rear shocks
197 RS badge
Wash, polish, wax

Also just ordered an OMP Targa 330 steering wheel and boss from eBay. Hopefully it will be here before FCS.
Then buying some front arch liners from Tunst as the ones I have are ripped to shreds.

Yh it's next Saturday. No uni work to do next week as it's just presentations the week after so taking the full advantage before I start a full time summer job in July :)

We can indeed park side by side. You helping with set up?

PMSL. You can sleep on the floor of our hotel room. Already 4 of us in there so far, more the merrier.

There is a pub 6 foot outside the hotel. In fact you could lay down and we could use you as a bridge to get to the pub.
Bring a sleeping bag and you will be set.

Bit of an update the since I haven't updated since June :0

Since then not much has changed, just a few things.

Installation of my OMP steering wheel. Love the feel of it. Really transforms the drive of the car. I have also put a Ph-1 gear stick in. SO much better than the Ph-2 gear stick. It also looks / feels a bit shorter?

Nothing else has changed on the outside. I am currently trying to get hold of some Cobra Daytona bucket seats as I miss the ones I had in my 1.4. I really shouldn't have sold them :dapprove:

Any who, some pics. I haven't been able to get some decent ones recently as I've been busy with work so just a few from the page before :eek:

WOW forgot about this thread.

So. Progress? Not much has happened. RS tuner remap (love it).

Made 178bhp and 160 ft/lp on the rollers at K-tec.

Plans?

Will be putting a custom made exhaust on soonish for a bit more noise.

I was going to strip the rear out, but now I car share to work, I can't do this. However, when I move to Bristol, it will be done asap.

Also looking at removing the aircon etc and getting the cup set up. I never use it (even in the summer when it was hot, I didn't use it).

I've had a cup spoiler I bought off Rob back in 2010 that has been sat in my shed. I'm going to get it carbon wrapped to see what it's like as I don't fancy splashing out on painting it.

So, yh. That's the plans. I want to try and get some new photos soon, but the car hasn't been washed since November :eek:
