172 ph1 Turn key nothing, please help

Hi i got my Clio 172 ph1 last week and love it...

Drove to work this morning no probs, got in it to come home, turned the key nothing...

All the lights are on as normal on the dash, so i disconnected the battery and reconnected it and this time when i turned the key the engine turned over and started as normal ... then it stalled..

Turn the key nothing happens again, so went and got my spare battery from home and hooked it up. still...... nothing.........

As i said all the lights on the dash are normal the battery is defiantly charged

There is no click from the starter or anything, makes me think it could be the immobilizer, any one have any ideas what to try or what it might be.

Im gonna check mine as i had the same faults as above!

How much is a TDC sensor from Reno?

Conected up a computer and it passed all the tests no probs,

Started to look at the starter as i knew it was not the immobilizer and bobs your uncle it was a dodgy wire going to the solenoid........

Have botched it to get me going, but now i am going to have a fun weekend checking over the starter cables............ god that heat shield over the starter is a pain in the arse lol

That heat sheild over the start should pull off, its only clipped in there, so give it a yank
