172 phase 1 fuel rail advice needed

I just bought an aftermarket air intake from 172 phase 2 and want to install on my 172 phase 1.
Question is a phase 1 has a fuel return line as it is on my picture 1 and phase 2 has not (picture 2).
Should I consider to add the the regulator unit from the phase 1 rail to the phase 2 aftermarket rail or may I just close the return line?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, it is a copy. Will see on dyno if it works.
