Does anyone know what vehicle and model is the sword shaped bracket from??

You want to route it like this, you can get the belt from Renault. I think the part number for the belt is 7700114730. Any problems with the part # let me know.

Isnt the water pump running backwards on this? :S

crank runs clockwise, waterpump anti whichever way you put the belt

So it doesn't matter then? Surely the water pump would be "sucking" instead of "blowing"?

maybe I'm just being a dinny but I have just carried this out and whilst putting the belt on I looked and thought to myself!

could you just reconfirm this someone?

By confirm I mean that the engine will still cool properly with the water pump running "backwards"?

It will still turn the same way if its running on the outside of the belt. Only when it's on the inside of the belt would it change direction.
