172 Spacers.... with coilovers fitted. Suggestions needed!

Hi all. I have searched the previous articles and have got a rough understanding now but just need to clarify.

Today I had FK Konigsport coilovers fitted to my PH2 172 and I am currently using standard 172 wheels but will soon be fitting 16" Turini wheels.
Upon seeing the car sitting lower I now feel spacers are required, especially at the front.

My question is, What should I get and what size? (Please also make clear what width I need for EACH SIDE)
I have seen another thread indicating 15 front and 10 rear but don't know if this is each wheel or total.

Thanks in advance to all that can help.

if you have standard 172 wheels I would say 5-10 mm (each side) at most but its down to what you want really.

I am really just wanting to fill the arches a little. It's like having a Dimma Clio with standard wheels. I will be using the car for trackdays also so really can't afford any scrubbing.

Also if you are thinking of changing to another set of wheels the offset may be different so make sure you know what the ET is before you buy spacers.

The wheels will be using are standard Clio Cup Turini's so standard ET as the originals surely?

Im looking into this aswell, been looking at 5mm or 10mm spacers, be looking for et35-38 finish, prob be ideal.

Ok, I would suggest 5mm all round (each side) to acheive a standard but better looking stance.

My wheels are ET37 and I have spaced the rear by 5 mm and its more than enough, just ordered 5mm spacers for the front now as I have just lowered onto coilies so looks a bit skinny lol.

  Looking for 182
Sorry to jump on this thread, but is the point of spacers purely for looks? Or can it reduce scrubbing as well? Since fitting coilovers on my 182 I do feel the front wheels look a bit too far in. However I've just spent money getting it all laser aligned, so would adding spacers require further alignment?

A question I have been deliberating over. I had the coilovers fitted at K-Tec and Ihave to take it back in 2 weeks to have it re-alligned and so I want these fitted along with the Turini's before having re-alligned otherwise my thought is the allignment may be out, plus I also want to "test" the car for handling and understeer etc in case I need to amend the camber etc.

Im sure hubcentric only applys to 15mm and above (each side) and 5 mm is enough considering its 10mm overall, Why don't you just order 5 or 10mm and if you want more just order some and sell the ones you don't want on the forum.

With 5 mm you won't even see the difference...I'd say 16-20 mm front, 10-16 rear, if you want to fill the arches with standard 172 wheels.

My concern was that 5mm won't do much visually but hence the reason for looking for advice. At least I can get hub centric at 16-20mm.

I think you could go with 10mm non hubcentric at the rear, and 16 mm hubcentric at the front, that wouldn't be excessive and you'd notice the difference.
I'm thinking to do the same but I'm worried about the legal problems (here in Italy you can get your car taken away for a few months for spacers! Crazy, I know.)

I've got 25mm each side up front and its fine fills the arches a lot better could even go another 5mm!

I've bought 5mm hubcentric eibach spacers all round, looks? More or less then sane but is noticable. Stopped the scrubbing though.

i'm putting tomorrow on my ph1 172 the 182 cup wheels, and i'm going to put 20mm spacers per wheel (so its going to be a 40mm wider track).
the ph1 172 et is 43 and the 182 cup 45, correct?
will it be too much or not?
