172 Steering problem ** Help required **

My 172 has developed a very bazar un-sure feeling when braking.

Steering wheel pulls left, whilst cars pulls to the right when braking. It does it at above 15mph. There is also a creaking coming from the left side.(which may not be related) It does not appear to be a brake calliper sticking, Any advice would be much appreciated.
 
sounds like when my brake caliper was sticking, do you get more brake dust on one side compaired to the other front wheel?

remove the 2 caliper bolts (well 1 will do just loosen the other) and then clean and lubricate the sliders.

then press the brake pedal to the floor (it will go right the way to the floor) 2 or 3 times then work the piston right back in (i use a big set of plyers but you get special tools for it) do this 3 or 4 times and that should sort it.
