172 streering wear ?

I looking at car 2morrow but the steering wheel is quite worn, is this a common problem ? and does it mean anything ?
If wanted to replace the steering wheel with a new one are they exspensive ? and is it a big job to do ?

My FF 172's steering wheel is still in very good condition.

Just bought my phase one 172 with 45,000 miles on it, it also has steering some wear to it, as do the interior door handles

My 172 has done over 86,000 miles and the only interior things that has really worn are the brake and clutch pedal rivets.
