172 subframe the same as a valver one?

Any one know if a Valver subframe is broadly the same as a 172 subframe? I need a sump guard and YBRacing list one for all Clio's but in the catalogue OMP state that it fits 1.8 and 2.0 Clios, and I'm thinking that they mean valvers and williams, rather than 172's.

Any help would be appreciated.

no not really the same. The mk1 subframe kicks up at the front by quite a few inches more
