172 turbo, which turbo to go for?

Having my engine rebuilt in the not too distant future to sort out a few leaks. Cars currently got the ED turbo kit on it. Is it worth upgrading from their turbo to something like a 2560 or 2860? Don’t want silly power just want it responsive and in the 280-300 range.

Hey man, I don’t have the answer directly but remember searching the same thing myself on this forum recently (I have a boosted 182) and I recall coming across atleast one thread on here when they did discuss which turbos were good and there was some good detail there. Worth having a search, might be quicker than waiting for people to respond pal
