17's On Mk1 Clio

I'm thinking of putting 17's on my clio 1.2. What sort of arch work would i need to do to fit them or wud I be better of going for smaller wheels?

ive had loads..16s and 17s, dont need to modify arches unless its been slammed! am currently on 17s lowerd 60mm

You'll probably have some trouble with 17's on a non 16v Mk1 if it's lowered at all. TBH I would say to go for 15's or 16's at most as 17's will kill any sort of performance you may have already.

I was thinking 17's a lowered 40mm.. might settle with 16's, cheers

if you put 17s on the car will handle like a bag of sh!t, depends what you want tho, looks or handling!!but 16s should be a good compromise!on so low profile tyres probly 40's i reckon

id stay with 15's mate with a 1.2... i know

otherwise they r slow as
