182 alloys on a mk2ph2 tyre size???

Hi guys

As above looking to know the cOrrect tyre size for 182 alloys on my mk2 ph2 non sport clio, so that my speedo isn't out and no rubbing or anything cheers

If you go with 195/45/16, the overall diameter is pretty much the same as your standard fit. There is like 5mm difference, so f**k all really.

yeh bt u dont wna go over 195 or as soon as u get a couple people in the back it'll chaffe

the tyres on the alloys are 205/45r16.... take it these are no good for my car?

they might be ok, it's just the rear arches are rolled slightly on the 182, so you may get scrubbing when there is more weight in the back.

hmmm got a five door.... usually do have some folk in the back... dont think ill risk it in that case :-( raging

5mm spacers on the rear should sort it out, got some on the bay for £7

Hubcentric are the ones to go for I believe.

Hubcentric for larger spacers, universal should be fine for 5mm.

I have 8mm spacers on the bk of my van with no problems like wheel wobble
