If so, i thought it wouldnt be unusual for things like this to wear/break prematurely?

Ive done 36k miles, 6 trackdays, 2 airfield days...and mine are all fine.

I am surprised a wheel bearing last that long if the car had been tracked on a regular basis. Very impressive durability.

The Renault website, which exists to tell you what these cars are all about, shows video clips of them being thrashed mercilessly round a track.

If thats what they use to market it...its got to be fit for that purpose.

Having new brakes all round this week which means new wheel bearings on the back anyway

Pity that the "discs" cost so much anyways
