182 climate control blower problem

182 blower stopped working took it in to renault yesterday took them 2 hours to tell me that they didnt know what was wrong with it!

now rebooked in they think it may be a electrical fault anybody else having problems - i miss my heater its cold! no hot or cold air will come out of it !

I had something like this although the display on the climate control packed up too just during that really cold few days about a month ago. Took it to Renault Cheltenham who diagnosed the heater loom had gone they managed to fettle me a repair whilst they got the replacement part in.

Took about a fortnight for it to arrive and was a warranty job. Word of warning though, the garage were very surprised how quickly the part turned up as apparently it was on back order and the expected it to be a couple of months!

I did find that although to start with the heater wouldnt work when I was taking the car in and its about a 40 min drive from home about half way there the demist came on at about 3/4 power so from being very cold i was sweating it was that hot in the car. Very strange as the night before i had sat in the car for about an hour trying to sort it all out and chaecking fuses etc and absolutely nothing would happen.
