182 cruise control switch

Anyone had an issues with the cruise control switch going back to the off setting on its own or when hitting a small bump. It was ok for a few months but now its doing it everytime I try to use it (usually when im bored)

I guess I will have to go back to the devil dealer.

Mine seems ok, and I love it!!

Its sooo cool for motorway cruising, or even setting it at 30 for speed camera avoiding.

Im sure it helps fuel consumption too if you use it to speed up/slow down by watching the road ahead etc.

hmmm, speed limiter doesnt "flick" back to off .....typical.

Pulled it all apart and fixed it last night

Well I got angry with it turning itself off last night that I ended up pushing it soooo hard that it popped into the dash !!! that gave me a fingerhold to tug out the surrounding panel.

I unplugged the switch, altered the metal clips that control the rocking motion and bingo !!!

There is a spare connector block behind there though, dunno what for.

it will be for the headlight leveling on cars without xenons I reckon.
