182 cup 2004 - alarm goes off when trying to start the engine

After unlocking the doors with the button on the key, everything seams ok. When you turn the key to the first position it beeps, then when you try to start the engine the alarm goes off. This does not happen every tome, but it's v.embarrassing when it happens.

Any ideas?
