182 Cup improved caster ???

Car  Black 182 + Recaros
Whilst reading a posting by 'eddd' (I was comparing 182 FF to 182 Cup), he mentioned that the 182 Cup had improved caster.

I may have misunderstood, but I thought the 182 FF with Cup suspension was identical to the 182 Cup. Have I missed something.

182 cup pack / 182 cup suspension is the same.

The un-cup'd 182 has mk2 172 hubs and different suspension.

Re-read his post mate.

He's talking about the 172 Cup, which does have a different castor angle than the 172 FF for improved handling.

Hummm....Won't be much if anything. toe in or toe out?! We leave every one of our race cars Parallel so it's pointless on a roadcar.

castor is the angle of the suspension strut in relation to the road.

there is also camber which is this

your talking about toe in and out (tracking) which is this

suspension setup has a big effect on the car and how it handles. Race teams invest alot of time and effort in this with different settings for different tracks. A road car is more difficult as it has to be setup for all conditions and corner types. I am surprised you are not bothered about the setups on your cars?

f**king hell considering I am on my 5th beer that wasnt a bad effort!
