182 dash removal

I want to remove the top bit of the dash which surrounds the airvents, centre display etc in order to screw a phone bracket on. How does it come off?

Removing the dash sounds like a recipe for even more rattles than it probably has already.


Never really seen the point in these phone holders, all they do is mess up the dash. I would just keep the phone in my pocket or the door pocket and use a blue tooth headset.
