182 Engine Mount - Offside

Hey peeps,

Taking my 182 in for some warranty work - the engine mount to be exact. Aparently renault have re-designed the offside mount - has anyone else had this fitted or heard about it? I have had an original mount replaced already - but the same fault has occured. Just wondered if it might be something more serious?

Redesigned? Thats a new one on me.

I had two repleced before I got a good one...have they finally changed the design then?

Someone else posted about this a few weeks back. Mine used to knock so I had them turn it a little and that solved the problem!

move them as far forward as possible.

with this do you get a sort of clunking at slow speeds? this is what I seem to be getting on my 182. Sounds like the direction of the front offside wheel?

bugger... looks like another trip to Renault then.

Never had any of these problems with my Grifter, Tomahawk or bmx 20 years ago!, or in the Sinclair C5 I rolled over Paington seafront!

My street wolf had the 4k rattle.

My extreme was way to heavy and i wrote it off.
