Tough one.... although imho, the Cupped 182 handles brilliantly anyway, but sounds gash. Might free up a few extra ponies too...

On the other hane, the 182 does sit a little high for some peoples tastes so a subtle drop would also aid handling aswell as appearance.

Personally, Id go for the zorst.

i would have them if the kit i wanted had been released yet so im keeping myself amused in the meantime, just ordered my buckets and harnesses

Think the sport looks fantastic when its on the floor but it must sound amazing with the stainless and sports cat and then theres the performance... K-Tecs zorst is also lighter than the original

Get zorst of the missus for now, wait for H&R coilover kit for 182 and buy that yourself. Sorted. One sweet looking, sweet handling, sweet sounding rapid 182.

I fancy the cat + zorst combo from K-Tec, obviously for better breathing but also the weight saving.

Any guesses to peformance improvement?

if youve got suspension pack which you have already paid more for then get the exhaust system.

Hi,
I did ask David about performance gains. He has said with exhaust and sports cat around 8bhp. Without cat 2-3bhp.

I personally went for a Prospeed sports cat and exhaust.
Booked in hopefully at GDI rolling road day in March!

..cant beat the Prospeed for quality and sound (ive had both exhausts), in terms of value for money suspension is one of the best mods you can do, but having an old sport i dont know what is available for the 182

I got the exhaust for mine cos I couldnt really see the point in paying for cup suspension and then putting other suspension on it.

Your choice at the end of the day.

Ive got the Ktec exhaust and IMO it looks much better than standard. Wouldnt claim any noticeable performance gains but David quoted me 2-3bhp for cat back only so if thats the case its a bonus. Noise wise it certainly isnt a loud exhaust but when warmed up does provide a subtle grumble over standard but TBH sounds like a decent standard exhaust rather than the usual stainless aftermarket jobs. The Ktec system is much lighter than standard one which especially noticeable when lifting them to and from the car!!!! Was thinkin of beefing up the sound with a decat, dont know if a sports cat would have the same effect. I also wanted the car lower and seeing as there arent any 182 coilover options at the mo went for Apex 40mm springs for now which look cool but are a harsh ride over the bumps!

I would say go for coilovers first if they are available soon then exhaust later.
