182 from battery through bulkhead

(did a search, nothing conclusive)

Just looking at running the power from the battery to the boot and its not looking easy on the 182. Anyone got any tips for the most pain-free/easiest method for this? i can see a gromet in the footwell on the passenger side that looks like its maybe the bonnet release cable? Might be a candidate, but i cant see where this comes out in the engine bay.

Any help appreciated.
