182 Fuel Filter

Right I might just be being thick here but i cant find the fuel filter on my 182. The search says its in front of the tank on the drivers side but i cant see anything :S

Any help/ Pictures?

thats why I cant see it. any reason why not to renew before 150k?

you don't have to, plus its only available as part of the sender unit which is about £300 IIRC

Only the early Phase 1's have a regular type fuel filter

its silver and round its deffo a fuel filter. but thats what it told me to buy on there seach on there websites for a 2004 Clio

put a pic up, sounds like it would fit a phase 1 so you could sell it on here if you cant get a refund

Damn! Glad I read this because I bought one for my 182 as well after reading in the Renault service guide the fuel filter needed replacing.

I was under it yesterday (doing other work) and did spot a round filter looking device in front of the tank- what would that be? I take it the pump is inside the tank?

^You got a pic? As said 182's dont have external filters, yea the pump is inside the tank. Filter (IF FITTED) is on the right hand side of the tank.

Maybe the Aus spec ones have them?

I'll have another look- I didn't check it out properly but it was infront of the tank on the RHS of it. Mine's a CB21, I think UK spec 182 Cups are CB22- so there are some differences.

Got back to opi oils and they gave me a full refund and I didnt have to send back the filter ether. So still recomend them. Good service

bump on this! I have the same thing, external fuel filter, maybe non UK cars have this maybe?
if so, what's the service interval for this?
mine is CB22 so we have a dilemma here
