182 gone back to Renault

After a tiny oil leak from the rocker cover has been fixed (new cam belt fitted). An unsteady idle is happening all the time when the car is at a stand still (warm or cold), performance is great. It's just unhappy when standing, so the 182 has gone back to Renault. Unsure when I'll get it back?

So I've got a five door 56 plate blue 1.2 at the mo!

my ex's saxo vtr was like that and with my mums xsara vts. i thought it was just a citroen thing!

what petrol do you use??? 95 ron or 97??? if you use 95 try shell v power I noticed after using this the car ran smoother

My old VTR was like that but I put that down to the wild cam I had fitted!!

only ever ran mine on optimax/v-power. It's happened ever since the oil leak was fixed under the rocker cover.

dunno then, mine seems to run better on optimax/vpower, will have to wait and see whar renault say.

yeah, last time they had it (booked in for 1 day) hooked it up to the computer thingy and said everything was ok!

They better not have it for 2-3 days and say that again!

My VTR and my mums 1.1 did this, now my 172 does it!

Gonna throw some plugs and leads on it next weekish because its got a tracking plug, see if it makes any difference to idle

My vtr used to be like that, drove me mad! Citroen couldn't seem to do anything about it either!

my 182 feels like that too... let me know if renault find a problem coz i'd love to know wot it is too... mine just feels like its vibrating a lil bit at traffic lights... like u can sit and look at the gearstick and its wobbling sort of thing

lol my old vts used to do the same use stand at about 1000rpm then it would go to literally nothing try to stall then jump straight back to 1000rpm,even did at the traffic lights sometimes and cut out once or twice.
