182 , hmmmm

Been to Renault Leicester today, got a mate who is the new car sales manager there, he said he could get me a 182 with both cup packs for £11k. Is that a good deal? If i was to keep the car for 6 months would i be able to sell it for around that?

For reference, I bought mine last (some others got theirs for the same price) november with both cup packs for £12.5k.

yes i would have thought so... but consider all the rumours (lol) of the new trophy clio.. they could affect re sale possibly..

im sure you cold sell for 11k 6 months on..

Dunno mate, good question, but if i was to sell it second hand id be looking at trying to get £11k for it? Only 5000 miles on it.

Not sure it matters what it will be worth in 6 months.

Those of you that are selling your <1 year old cars are plonkers.

Just buy the car you will want in 12 months time NOW.

Dont buy a 182 now and sell it for an Elise in 6 months time. Buy the Elise now or is that too obvious? If you dont want an Elise/S2000 in 6 months time and you cant afford the CTR then buy a 182/Cup/Trophy.

I am keeping mine for 3 years. By then the new Clio and CTR will be established, the teething troubles fixed and I will have a clear idea as to what I want. The only problem is a face lift for both would only be a few months off so what should I do! Really I wish I had bought my car now rather than six months ago as that would put the selling off period closer to the new Clio/CTR face lift.

Yours sounds like a good deal to me! No real point in selling it after 6 months though, youll loose money no matter what happens
