182 is in for 2nd Engine temp sensor..

had first one changed last month, now the second one is playing up again!

anyone else had this problem?

Yep, me.

Apparently its more likely to be a wiring fault, rather than the actual sensor itself

well i wish they would sort it!!

when it went in for first time, i said it only happens at high revs, needless to say when i got car back, after they road tested it, and sorted it, MPG had dropped to 17!!!

so roadtest was at high revs for a long time!!

does the temp sensor affect the idle or choke? cos when i start er up ill be kangarooing down the road for 500 yards until the choke sorts itelf out!

yup, when engine temp drops, ecu thinks engine is cold, so it will idle at like 2000 rpm.

yet to have any kangeroo juice tho!
