182 manifold on to 172

as the title says really i was just looking on here and several post say to put a 182manifold on to a 172 engine. i have the phase 1 172
is it possible to bolt a 182 manifold straight on to this as im under the impression the only difference in the power of the engines is the manifold. is it worth doing if possible? just thought id post a pic of the car as well lol

Yes it bolts on nicely, but You will need to lose the cat section.
Whats more its hard to install, You need to drop the subframe or put the engine out of the car to do it.

na nt think i will i was just thinking if its a straight on bolt off bolt on job id do it but i cant be arsed with all that ill just get a decat from somewhere
