Maybe a few more horses if thatwill a 182 manifold make any difference to my 172 cup?
thank you for your help thats made me decide lol i can do everything myself but it seems like alot of messing around really for not much gain , will stick to my original plan of ktec system decat and remap

Im fitting one to my PH1 but im taking the head off to get it ported, supertech valves and fitting 421 catcams.
The 182 manifold offers better flow but fitted to a 172 you might loose a few bhp but gane midrange toque.
Yes it offers better flow, dont see how you might lose bhp?
I'm doing the exact same thing with my 172 but I've got a ph1 head to go on.

Yep, gives a bit more mid range torque but drops a couple of BHP.
IIRC I lost 3bhp top end but gained 7lbft mid range.
That said its torque that moves the car not BHP if you can fit yourself IMO it's worth fitting alongside breathing mods and a decent exhaust.
Worth fitting to get rid of the original manifold to cat connection I reckon, real fiddly thing.
