Live a mile or so from selby. Soon be coming up for the belts doing and thought about getting an RS Tuner and mapping it. Thing is I have a mac and don't trust the parallels software running windows enough to use it to map my car so don't really fancy risking it and probably rather have someone else do it! What are the maps like that RS tuning do and can the 182 really make the acclaimed 195 bhp claimed on their website? I doubt it? Also, would standard internals and clutches take 195 bhp anyways as a side note? Also how much are there maps? Emailed them but had no reply "/

I have to admit, I don't remember seeing 195bhp quoted. The map makes it tick over better and gives it a smoother more progressive power delivery. It's a worthwhile upgrade.

This, you may get a couple of BHP over standard, but it won't be much more, what you will get is a much more linear power delivery.....

Yeah on their website mate if you look at their remap section they quote 195 bhp on my phone so I can't check ill post a snap of it when I get in. Do you think it's worth the money? Do you know how much they charge?

You typically pick up the rs tuner for around £120, unlock licence is £60 then the map is £30. You can then sell on the tuner for £120. Is it worth it, yes. A lot nicer to drive and possibly a bit quicker.

I actually bought the tuner for its diagnostics as I had an electrical fault and ended up loading the map after.

Ah s**t sorry what I meant was an it's all so bloody confusing, what's the advantage of the company RS Tuning in Leeds mapping it over the RS tuner hence why I said the 195 brake figure hahaha! So sorry! Was a little scared of fecking my car up though I mean is it easy for an absolute novice?
