182 not turning over when hot

Hi all,

I've been having what seems to be an intermittent fault with starting the car.
When i first get in and go to start it fires up first time lovely. But once I've been driving for some time and its had a chance to heat up fully and then stop, for example, i turn the car off to pop in the shops, when i come back the car just wont turn over. All i get is clicking from the glove box (UCH?) Its only when its cooled down some it suddenly starts.

Now i'm not saying the heat has anything to do with it however it's the only thing that seems to be constant with the fault.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Check you have the heat shield on the starter. i didn't have one and my starter used to get hot with the same symptoms your having.
