182 Oil change - How much

Just been quoted £91 inc VAT by a Renault dealer. Change of Oil and Filter.

Sounds expensive to me.

Is this reasonable ? If not can anyone recommend an alternative please.

I am doing this as part of the run in procedure having done 2000 miles now.

was going to get mine done at 6K have emailed 3 dealers to get prices will let you know

My dealer quoted me 60.... so I did it myself.

if your near birmingham, ill do it for £20 if you supply oil and filter

local dealers are wating between £27 and £50 for oil change if I supply my own elf 5w40oil.

mate change the oil ya self me bro works for vw and he done me oil change for me @ 1000 miles the oil he took out was as good as the oil i put back in. even he couldnt belave it was so clean. he said by the colour of the oil the filter didnt even need changeing so i wouldnt even bother with that. but the oil is well easy to change just gey ya self a new sump plug seal about 60p or something close to that and some good oil. they even told me @ my local renault parts department to change the oil my self as it was so easy.

yeah if I decide to I will, its just getting some ramps to put it on to get underneath.

had it done at 9.00 am at a Renault dealer for £79 inc VAT.

Engine is much smoother and quieter.

Did 200 miles today and noticed the difference

they charged me this for an oil change last time.

Ive bought 50 odd litres of renault elf 5w40 this time so I can supply my own oil,

pkimber how many miles have you done before you got it changed?

Had my 182 2 months now. Clocking up some serious miles every week now.

I am following the alternative running in process.

as ive sed elsewhere ive got my hands on some elf excellium 5w40 oil, so am going to be putting this in, what did you put in?

I often feel it sounds/feels better after an oil changd too often wondered if it was partly in my head though.
