182 on ph1 O.Z F1 cup wheels.. Pics?

  Saxo VTS
As title has anyone got any pics of a 182 on oz f1 cup wheels off a ph1 172? Ive just bought a black 182 and was tempted to get some lighter wheels and always liked the f1 cups.
Thanks!

Thats our blue 182 in the pics up there, loads more in our build thread.

They are quite light but made of cheese.

I have at least 40 of them and I think I probably dont have a set of 4 that are truely genuinely perfectly straight, they buckle so easily.
Most of them its very slight and you would really have to try to find it but some of them are horrific.

Ok, so if they all bend easily is there a good alternative that's light in 15"?

Pro race 1.2 are pretty good, my only reason for going Oz F1 instead (I used to have a couple of sets of pro race) is that it was easier to find a dozen or so sets of them secondhand for sensible money and I wanted them all the same.

That was what I was thinking, if the oz f1's were cheap then not a bad option as they look good! Not sure how pro race will look on a clio?

I have 8 OZ F1s, only one of which has a very slight buckle, the rest are all straight :) well according to my mate who put the tyres on!

Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2s look awesome on a Clio.

Speedline 2118s also look great and are a bit more heavy duty.

Here are a couple of our other clios on Pro race, one on Pro race 1 and one on Pro race 1.2

I think they look really good personally, but TBH im actually not that fussed on how things look more on how they go anyway so probably the wrong person to ask!

They do look great actually! Im not into pure looks but couldn't live with some terrible lookers lol. May have a new contender in the pro race!

pro race 1.2 = 6.2kg
pro race 1 = 6.1kg
Williams speedling = 7.2kg
oz superleg = 4.9kg

that's all in 15" 7 J flavour, I unfortunately haven't weighed an F1, last set I had I sold as quick as I bought them so didn't get chance to weigh.

Get cracking on the misses car while she is out. :D

It does look great.

Lol, she woudlnt mind at all if I wanted to paint up some of the OZ f1 in red, its normal road wheels are turinis anyway, but I keep the ozf1 all the same colour so that I can swap between sets as tyres wear etc, we have about a dozen sets and I dont want to paint them all red, lol, plus they'd look wrong on the mk1 I reckon in red with liquid yellow.

You have a point. :(

I know what you mean Chip, it shouldn't work but it does lol. Spray Lesley's ;)

As above mate, weve got over 40 of the damn things and I want to be able to swap between sets as tyres wear etc, so if I did it I would have to commit to doing them all, lol.

Or do what I did with my nova, I had:
White = Inters / road
Black = Dry track tyres
Red = Wets

As you never want to run wets and dries on the same car at once and that way it had a bit of variety.

I'd spray all 40 a different colour each, just the crack ;)

Yeah, why would I want to spend my next couple of weekends finishing and mapping the mk1 when instead I could spend them spraying 40 wheels all different shades and then instead of using my finished car on track, I can spend my day swapping different colour wheels on it on the driveway for the "lolz" and the couple of hundred quid I dont spend on the trackday could be spent on the rattle cans.

Brilliant idea...
