182 Pick Up Project - with pics

Managed to get my hands on a really clean 182 FF, 59k with belt history, cup packs etc
Let me know what you all think of my pick up project so far........

OK OK, THIS IS A WIND UP, I HAVEN'T DESTROYED A NICE 182.


However, this car does sit here with no roof!!


I've acquired the car to break up (for sale thread will be started soon). Around 18 months ago a tree fell on to the car and the owner couldn't claim on his insurance and held on to the car until now.


I couldn't resist taking the roof off and starting this thread just to see what comments it got!!


Here's a pic of the car before the chop just to show I'm not mad!

Unfortunately the cup spoiler didn't survive! And to repeat, I'm not actually building a pick up despite the positive comments its been given!

Haha great thread, good photographs too! The car actually looks pretty tidy considering it's had a tree resting on it's roof. Almost looks as good as this GEM on eBay a while ago: (I can't believe it sold...!)

At least the parts off mine are salvageable we're as the Fiat is ready for the scrappy!!

The owner must have been gutted when it happened as its the cleanest 172/182 I've come across bar a couple of scuffed wheels. Except the o/s door the rest of the car is mint, no hand sized dents in the bonnet, clean headlights, mint seats etc all on 59k
