182 Power steering pump noise on start up.

Hi Everyone

When I start my car from cold, for the first 20 seconds or so the power steering pump is quite noisy then it quietens down. Fluid is at correct level.
Is this an indication of potential failure?

Is it a whine? Pretty standard if it is.

Mines whines like a b*****d but i assumed this was actually the aux belt?

Thanks for replies - it is more of a low rumble than a whine, I have just done belts and tensioners, maybe should have done pump at same time.

Mine whines ever since the belts were done. As you've said, just for 20 seconds or so, but not a rumble.
