Hi, anyone got any tips on how to cut down the service costs?

Do you supply your own oil? If so what make and how much?

ring around to get the best deal, there seams to be a massive difference between all the dealers. A good price is £150 which is what I paid.

Funny enough, you can price match a service with these c**ts, i got my old car serviced by Reg Vardy in sunderland, and they wanted more than Lookers in Chester. When i was paying for the service, i said, "ang on a minute, the same service at another renault dealer is £30 cheaper, im not paying more for the same parts and labour", and they did it at the same price.

I got my 182 serviced twice for free. Once at 10,000 when used as a run about for the dealer before i bought it, and at 11,800 when i bought it...

As for oil Leeds...............I always supply my own oil................saves a fair few quid and you know the correct oil is being used eh

If you want the Reno recomended oil you need ELF Excellium LDX 5 w 40 and you can get it from Total Butler in Castleford just call 01977 603363 and ask for Debra...........the cost is £69 for 24 literes delivered.

Well you can only do so much eh..................you could always watch them do it................you gotta trust somebody..................or DIY

hopefully mine will be about £140 in a week or so, me supplying oil. thats with Renault skipton. includes all whats needed as per book, inc cabin filter
