182 step by step (ish) oil change

F**king oil filter, only took me 3 hours, half hour to get the car ready, 2 hours to remove the oil filter and then another half hour to put new oil in and put it all back together.

I also have lots of cuts on my hands now!!

THE FILTER REMOVERS ARE FROM HALFORD BUT NEED TO BE MODDED lol

Much easier if you take the injector shield off.

the filters are a b**ch to do arent they...

fuel rail cover comes off quite easy giving you more space.

Lol lovin the filter removers hahahaha. Wud it not of been easier to wip the fuel rail protector off first make it easier to get to the filter???

2 10mm nuts in the holes at the front. needs a socket extension to reach in there

2 or 3 x 10mm bolts down each shoot at the front of it

As they've said above, couple of bolts and the whole thing lifts out and you can easily get both arms in their.

Yeah I learnt the hard way. Put the new filter on and it was leaking I was like. How am I supposed to tighten that. Then realised the fuel rail guard came off and its like. OMG how easy is this now.

LOL with my modded tool it was fine but it took me 2 hours to work out how to do it.

I loosend the air con pipe and used a strap to remove my filter took an hour to do because i had to go and buy the tool LOL

You could screw up your AC! Dont loosen of any AC pipes ever. Either the gas will get out and if you are cought it is either a £20,000 fine or 6 month in prison for letting AC gases out into the atmosphere. Or you get moisture into the system and you will have to get the filter drier replaced or you will screw up the air con compressor.
