182 suspension....I am confused?!??

Reading around the 182 suspension, it seems as though there is a difference in fitting aftermarket suspension onto a 182 with and without cup packs.

Can somebody please clear this up? If i was to buy some coilovers from somebody who had them fitted to a 182 with cup pack, they wont fit on my 182 without cup pack?!

Also i hear that 182's without cup packs are able to fit aftermarket suspension designed for the 172??

I am confused, please somebody who knows clarify.

Non Cupped 182's can run aftermarket 172 suspension, they both share the same hub spacing, which is different to that of Cupped 182's.

To fit suspension onto your non cupped car that is for a Cup packed car, will need new hubs etc.

Tom .. if you are refering to my suspension .. you did not tell me that your car did not have cup packs .. I presumed it was the same as mine and that you had looked into if they would fit etc

My Gaz suspension will NOT fit your car if you do not have cup packs ..

So is a non Cup packed 182 just a 172 with different wheels?

There are slight differences between the factory kit on 172s and 182s without cup packs but aftermarket kits physically would fit both.
