182 Temp Sensor Replacement part?

Does anyone have any info on a non renault water temp sensor that will cure once and for all the fault factory sensors have on 182's please

Fred. I take it theres no issues with 172 temp senders then?? Surely renault would just fit that sensor if it was that easy, 2nd thoughts main dealer.... its already had one under warranty and been back since then but the bloody thing wouldnt play up for them..

same engine, but i'm not sure if its a different part number, but the same part (physically) if that makes sense!

no issues on 172's

Same part although 182 ones seem to fail quite likly the cables are the problem more than the sensor itself.

Bit of both I suspect. But 90% of 182 seem to suffer from it which is unusual.

well it looks like 172's do suffer from it so thats not going to solve it

you think the wires to the sensor are dodgy? I cant believe bosch or somebody like that makes replacement ones.

It's the wiring.

I had many sensors changed before I realised this.

Check the wiring fiddle about with it see whater its not working.
