182 Timing belt Q- locking flywheel with screwdriver

So I'm at the point where I lock the flywheel with a screwdriver. My problem is that it doesn't seem to be sticking on anything when I put the screwdriver into the gap. Should I feel it lock in against something, or does it only stick when I'm applying torque removing the crank bolt? I've got a large and extra large screwdriver and neither seems to catch or jam in against anything in the hole no matter how I manoeuvre them.
