182 to V6 free of charge..

Car  Astra VXR 17/05/07

I filled up with Bp ultimate at the weekend, the little leaflet claims it can give you performance to the next car up for example 1.8s will get 2.0 performance...

The next car up from the 182 is the V6 so if i dont get V6 performance im gonna sue their asses..if i get the performance..how cool is that !!! :p

That sounds like tripe! Imagine a VTR running as fast as my VTS just from BP Ultimate... lol, think the key word is can, wonder which cars it can run faster.

Well Id be going from a 1.4 > 1.6! A jump of 12 ponies!

How about I put my car on a RR on standard petrol, and then fill up with BP ultimate and then have it RR again, see if I get my extra 12 shire horses!

Oh I wouldnt bother with that. The law of this land is an ass! Youll probably end up being counter sued for liable, and lose the original case, because you didnt have the pump nozzle at the right angle when filling your car, to get the uprated performance! lol

Probably, although in America wed all sue the OP for wasting our time filling up at B.P and our legal costs involved in sueing B.P... probably!

Booo. What happened to free speech!!

If Optimax is cheaper than BP ultimate than go for it! Optimax is 98 RON where I BP Ultimate is 97 RON.

Thats a whole extra RON. And we all know that more RONS are better. (Standard unleaded is 91 RON and most other "premium" brands are 95 RON.) I did actually notice a difference when I used Optimax in my car, but I guess it could be just my mind playing tricks on me.

Lots of manufacturers nowadays say that their sportier cars should be run only on 97/8 RON fuel, and 95 when unavaoidable. (Audi TT handbook says 91 RON fuel should be used in emergencies only!)
