is there a noticeable performance difference between a trophy and 172 cup?

172Cup, Trophy and 182Cup are bang on identical. The 182ff is basically the same and a decent breakfast in any of the drivers could be the decider. 172ff is slightly slower with 154bhp/ton compared to 171 & 167 for the 172Cup and 182Cup respectively. The only RS that I'd imagine would struggle slightly in direct competition with a Trophy or 172Cup, is the 172ff, especially without the Cup suspension options that were available on the 182.

On paper, in theory, based on power/weight, its 172Cup, Trophy, 182Cup, 182ff, 172ff. All extremely capable cars though and the power outputs vary from quoted anyway. Trophy is the choice for me because of the slightly more focused setup. If it had been available when I ordered, I wouldnt have gotten the 182Cup.

yeah the 182 cup did, 172 cup had a sport steering wheel.

I dont think the dynamique has the cruise buttons though does it? The sport wheel doesnt do much for me to be honest. Especially considering it's still the size of a capstan, but also has rubber grips that you'll be arguing over warranty with the dealer in 3 years when they fall apart :D I do prefer the look of the wheel to the 182Cup though. Both are s**t and far too large for a performance car. I have often considered replacing mine with a Momo Corse, but losing Cruise for the motorway, and my teeth in an accident, are the main reasons I havent yet done it.

yeah you are quite right it doesnt have cruise, not sure whether thats an option on a dynamique. It certainly is the same interms of feel/looks etc.
