pretty much what he said, bit lighter than 182, bit heavier than a 172 cup. I would highly recommend a test drive mate. I love mine to bits. you been on www.cliotrophy.co.uk yet?

I've just sold my high bhp Evo 6 and bought one. I can honestly say I really really like this car. My one is also fitted with some whilteline goodies too! (rear ARB and lower front lock brace.) So the handling is even better.

I bought it as a cheaper to run car for the wife (compared to the Evo) as I really don't use a car much due to me having my work van. I've been driving it at any given opportunity...Lol

Its a cheap, fast and extremely good handling car. What more would you want.

The seats are just like those in the Evo, if i have to say something bad about the car its got to be the steering wheel. Its just to dam big. I'd change it but i'm really liking the cruise control features.

well said but you will get use to the steering wheel. I think it looks great and cruise is a nice touch, just a little bit bigger than other small cars.

No Xenons or Climate Control ?

Never knew that, presumed it would have with the 182FF having it. So just normal air con, or no air con at all? And standard cheaper to replace lights! Would still have one i reckon.

I'm not on a commission just saw it this morning and know that it is dirt cheap. £8995. Was interested myself but hard to justify changing a lower mileage similar age car.

I've looked at this car, if it had lower mileage, say under 30k then i'd have have bought it by now.

^^ yeh to save weight, comes with the stardard aircon like in normal clios.

To save weight? Surely there's bugger all difference in weight between air con and climate? Think it was more likely to keep costs down, to off set the cost of the suspension.

I wouldn't have a 182ff over a trophy. Of that 2k saving i'm sure the extra cost would be returned on the re-sell price whilst the 182 will drop more heavily.

I think the Trophy is also more special, its like buying a valver when you could a Williams. If you aren't bothered about owning 'one' then save the cash though.

Would love a passanger ride in one. I have only ever been in one 182 which was on track but wasn't overly impressive tbh, mainly due to the driver as he was quite inexperienced...

Need to find someone located in the Wirral area who would be up for a blast......

The Williams is the more fun car though IMO than the valver the suspension is setup for normal roads whereas the trophy is a much more track setup and IMO to hard. I'd take the normal 182 over it as its nicer to driver on real roads which 90% of the time your on.
