182 Vs Rover 220 turbo coupe

What do you think guys,

How would a standard 182 compare to a 200BHP rover 220 turbo coupe.

your thoughts, if anyone can get the spec of a 220, this would help

cheers

rover would still looks old, sh*t and smell of piss and werthers origonals, oh and it wouldnt handle. straight line they are quite quick tho

220 turbo would be quicker in a straight line, if you could keep it in a straight line that is!!!!!!!! Terrible torque steer.

mate has a rover 220 coupe turbo, its seriously quick, an donly has a few small mods (lowered, 17s, dump valve, full zorst, fiter).

in a straight line itll defo be quicker than a 182, but i think through a few streets etc the 182 will keep up as it doesnt have to wait for a turbo to spool up, so u get the power there and then.

And they dont handle, at all!! Its like driving a high speed jelly, lol.

Absolutely little to compare bar straight line speed.

Former colleague had one new as a company car years ago. It had a chassis made of jelly. Genuinely apalling in all areas - and unbeleiveably bad torque steer.
